Step 1.
Use an electric whisk to beat the butter in a large mixing bowl for 4–5 mins, then add the drained cream cheese and beat for another 2 mins.
Step 2.
Sift in the icing sugar and add the vanilla and beat for another 2 mins, until smooth and evenly incorporated. (Add more icing sugar if you prefer a firmer frosting.)
