This ragù is super satisfying and rich, but completely vegan! Plus, the lentils mean is has some good protein in there too. Winner winner.

You have another mushroom and lentil ragu on the site that is much better. https://www.mob.co.uk/recipes/mushroom-lentil-ragu
That one includes tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, miso and garlic. This one includes none of those and was tasteless until I managed to rescue it by frying off some garlic and adding that with some tomato paste part way through the cooking.
I'd suggest getting rid of this recipe and focusing on the other that actually tastes nice.

I quite like this recipe however I think you have to make sure you stick to Italian cooking principles to make it work - ie cook the initial soffrito for ages (way longer than 8 mins) and use best quality ingredients and give it more salt than the recipe says.
