Hey Stephanie! Thanks so much for your honest feedback. Oats sound like a great solution if you'd prefer a less dense bar.

Hi there, I think there might be a glitch with this recipe! when I look it up the quantities and wording are different to what my friend can see in the app. my recipe seems to be for 5 bars at around 400 cal each, whereas my friends makes 6 bars which are 250 cal each⊠mob, what is going on?!

My app says 250cals but I have worked out these to be around 310 calories (using my fitness pal)⊠đ

I didn't have protein powder or ground flax, so subbed in ground oats and chia seeds - these tasted fab! Highly recommend splitting the base between 12 paper cases and topping with the chocolate for a more nutritious take on a Reese's peanut butter cup!

can you use crunchy peanut butter and are their any good alternatives to flax seeds?

Crunchy peanut butter worked well for me when I made this, along with chia seeds in place of flaxseeds :)

Is there a leaner version available? 400kcal for 17g protein doesnât feel high protein, I though you had to have at least 1g of protein per 10 calories for something to be classed as high protein

Hey Laura! It's 250 calories per bar x

Whatâs the best way to store these? How long do they keep for? (provided theyâre not all snaffled!!)

Hey Emma! Here are our storage recommendations for this recipe...
Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
Freezer: Freeze for up to 3 months. Layer between baking paper to prevent sticking.
To serve: Defrost at room temp for 10 mins or enjoy straight from the fridge.
