The chickpeas were hard and pretty flavourless, and the cod was bland despite seasoning. It was basically an underwhelming extremely chunky hummus with cod. The recipe was easy to follow and sounded great; I think maybe my cheap pulses didn’t help, but I think maybe some of the quantities are off. At any rate I’m glad I tried it even if it didn’t quite do it for me!

Hi Jess. You can just skip the sesame completely. If you're still looking for that crunch you could top the dish with some cripsy fried onions :)

Really delicious - but I think the quantities of each ingredient (apart from the cod fillets) are incorrect. It lists 1 can of chickpeas for 4 portions which is definitely not enough food when this forms the main bulk of the dish. I doubled/tripled everything (except the cod)
