This was an amazing dish I’d do again & again. There is just me who eats this so I have enough for 2-3 days (happy days) Took longer to prep than it says but so worth it. I am a meat eater but have veggie days a few times a week, make this dish you won’t be sorry it’s so delicious, I made the hummus beforehand a recipe also from MOB the ultimate recipe 😋

Wow wow wow, so good. Definitely not 25 minutes, more like an hour but I did use dried lentils and made the hummus too and also doubled the quantities. Also made the hummus from white beans instead of chickpeas as that’s what we had already and it was still very good! It’s the capers that give it that lil zing. This would be very good for my vegan pals :)

How long would this take to cook directly from frozen (and how), please?

Hi Fiona! You could cook the stew part direct from frozen in a saucepan set over a low-medium heat, allowing it to thaw and heat gently and thoroughly. Add a splash of water if necessary if drying out. The time will depend on the quantity of stew but go low and slow until piping hot throughout. Serve the hummus and garnishes fresh on the day.

Loved this! Used home made hummus and added a meat free oxo beef stock cube for added flavour. Lots of left over lentils for lunch tomorrow

So tasty, will be making again.
I used two aubergines for more bulk and skipped the chillies.

Very delicious meal, I cooked the lentils myself (used 100g dried weight which turned into 225g cooked weight) and added crispy kale, definitely took probably closer to 45 minutes but very tasty and will cook again!

Unbelievably delicious, so simple but packed with flavour. It’s super bright and zingy, I can’t wait to make it again. I used smoked hummus as a base which worked really well.

Whole family loved this recipe! The hummus cuts through the acidity of the tomato, really nicely balanced

Have made this a couple of times now and always a favorite, good for leftovers in the week too, though it definitely takes me longer than 25mins
